Plaintiff contends that he was hired by defendants Smith, Emerick, Milner & Colquhoun, a law firm representing Helric, was told to send his bill to the firm and believed that the law firm would pay him. The firm contends that it never agreed to be personally liable, that plaintiff was told the services were to be rendered for Helric and that plaintiffs bill would be sent on to Helric for payment.
